Modern medicine in Uzbekistan: Potok Inter at TIHE 2021

Despite the difficulties related to the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, Potok Inter managed to take part in person in the international exhibition TIHE 2021, which was held from 9 to 11 June in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

This year, 14.8 trillion soums have been allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the health care system. Funds allocated from the State Budget in 2020 increased by 1.2 times compared to the previous year and 1.6 times compared to 2018. This means that 12.2% of total state budget expenditures and 2.3% of GDP were spent on health care.

In addition, 2.04 trillion soums were allocated for the construction, repair and equipping of healthcare facilities as part of the investment program. The number of private medical institutions in Uzbekistan is increasing day by day, this creates healthy competition in the medicine, improves the quality of medical services provided to the population and reduces their prices.

Over the years, the exhibition has become the largest show of achievements in scientific and practical medicine, in which experts and world leaders of the industry traditionally take part, presenting their latest technologies and innovations.

The highest interest among the visitors was aroused by innovative equipment based on the Russian technology of air decontamination "Potok".

Air decontamination in the medical premises is one of the most effective means of preventing infections transmitted by airborne droplets (tuberculosis, influenza, tonsillitis, measles, rubella, chickenpox, etc., including the new coronavirus infection COVID-19), and complications during surgery. To reduce the risk of viruses and bacteria spreading in indoor air, Potok Inter equips hospitals with its own units.

In addition to induct mount units and laminar flow units, Potok presented also standalone air decontamination units with a capacity of up to 120 m3/h, which were developed during the COVID-19 outbreak by the Potok Inter research and production company for public and private doctors' offices, ndividual hospital wards, administrative and office buildings. They have the smallest dimensions in the entire line of standalone units of the company, with 99.9% efficiency the air of small premises (up to 20 m2) is decontaminated, without taking up much space.

“The TIHE 2021 is of great importance for our company. The event has become a meeting place for partners, doctors, and also helped to build new channels of cooperation, create an excellent opportunity for assessing the market, concluding promising contracts”, said Alexey Ashutov, Business development manager CIS countries.

This year, more than 100 companies and brands from the following countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition: the Republic of Belarus, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the Czech Republic, which will represent leading manufacturers and distributors of medical equipment and equipment, medicines, medical products, medicines, as well as equipment and technologies for dentistry and the pharmaceutical industry.
